Forgiveness is easy to receive yet many times hard to give.  This makes it a bit surprising then to realize that the first words Jesus spoke from the cross are words of forgiveness.  “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing?”  Who is “them” and what were they doing?  Listen to this sermon to find out as we prepare for the Lenten season.
