We started a new series this week looking at the various names of Christ in the Bible.  And you would be surprised how many names there are, I know I was.  But the first name we look at today means the first (and the last), Alpha and Omega, so it is appropriate to start this series.  I hope you enjoy listening to it.

Where do we get the names from holy week like Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday?  Well this sermon explores this question and the answers will probably change the way you look at this wonderful week in Christianity.

God knows us on a first name basis.  But did you know that God wants us to know him just as personally and intimately.  God does not want us to call him Sir or Master, but Daddy.  And Yahweh is the Old Testament name that does this.  In over 6800 places this name is used and referenced in just about that many other places, Yahweh speaks of a God who we can know personally on a one on one basis.  Listen for more about this name in this sermon.
