God is love.  But God is also holy and as a holy God he must punish sin.  Nahum is full of God’s wrath.  And as Romans 11:22 says, we need to be aware of God’s love as well as God’s sternness that leads to being cut off.  I hope that all of us will not fall into the hands of an angry God.
